Blue Jeans for the Homeless Collection Drive
November 27, 2021 - January 31, 2022
The Library is once again a collection site for Blue Jeans for the Homeless throughout the month of January.
New or gently used, adult-sized jeans and new packages of socks and underwear are being collected. The greatest need is adult men’s blue jeans!
NEW THIS YEAR! We are also collecting non-perishable food items for the homeless. Please note: Pop-top canned goods are preferred! Suggested food items:
- Canned meats
- Jerky
- Canned pork and beans
- Canned soup
- Canned fruit
- Ramen soup
- Crackers
- Chips
- Cereal
- Granola Bars
All donated items will be given to the homeless in the Chicagoland area, including Will and DuPage counties.
