Lynda.com is upgrading to LinkedIn Learning on April 28
is getting an update. The service will be down on April 27 as it upgrades to the new LinkedIn Learning platform.
Why now? Lynda.com has been a part of LinkedIn since 2015, but these new changes for library accounts are intended to improve and streamline the service. With LinkedIn Learning, patrons will have access to 16,000+ online courses in 7 languages as well as a mobile app for learning on the go.
Beginning April 28, LinkedIn Learning will be available with your PPLD library card and PIN (no LinkedIn account needed). There is a new link to log in, so you’ll need to update any bookmarks saved on your devices. Patrons will also have access to the LinkedIn Learning mobile app for learning on the go.
If you used Lynda in the past, your progress and saved courses have been migrated to the new platform. You can now access LinkedIn Learning here: https://www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/plainfieldlib
