Winter Reading Challenge
This winter, we are challenging you to push the boundaries of your reading comfort zone by expanding your reading across genres, topics and authors. Read and log two books from the Read Woke categories and receive a prize: a scarf, neck gaiter or Shhh! I am Reading socks (while supplies last) and an entry to win a $50 gift card. By completing this challenge, you will discover diverse authors from a variety of backgrounds and earn badges with of goal of becoming #ReadWoke.

Logging your books is easy!
- Click Activity Badges and select a category.
- Discover reading suggestions for that category (or find your own).
- Enter the title and the author of the book you read.
- Click the checkbox. Repeat for each book.

Read Woke is an online movement that was started by Cicely Lewis, School Library Journal’s 2020 School Librarian of the Year, that encourages everyone to read books by authors from underrepresented and marginalized groups. You can learn more about Lewis and Read Woke at the Read Woke website.
