Will County Preserving History’s Heritage

Collections scanned through a 2009 Illinois State Library digitization grant. Collections include the Miles V. Hartong Glass Plate Negative Collection, Shorewood Sentinel newsletters, Will County Recorder of Deeds Indexes from 1835-1885 and Will County Atlases from 1873 and 1909-1910.

Military Records

Photos, documents and memorabilia digitized in conjunction with recorded interviews with local veterans by Plainfield Television as part of the Library of Congress’ Veteran’s Oral History Project.
