Reference & Reader Services Department staff members can answer your questions:

  • In person, at the reference desk on the upper level of the Library

  • Via email at  (Staff will respond to your question within 24 hours on days the Library is open.)

    Questions received after hours will be answered the following day.

Located on the upper level of the Library, the department features:

  • Trained, professional reference staff members who can assist you with your questions, research projects, locating materials, using the public computers and other information needs
  • Fiction Collections, including: large print and foreign language fiction
  • Non-Fiction Collections, including: reference materials, local history, genealogy, oversized, foreign language and ELL materials
  • AV Collections, including: audiobooks, music CDs, feature films on DVDs, Blu-rays, Rokus
  • Graphic Novels
  • Magazines and newspapers
  • Technology, including:
    • 12 public computers with Windows 7, MS Office 2013 software and internet access
    • 2 mini Macs with OS X Mavericks, MS Office 2011 and internet access, 5 online catalog computer stations and 1 public reference station attached to a microfilm reader
    • Printers, a copier and a scanning station that also allows you to scan to fax
    • eReaders, tablets and Rokus to check out
